Key Responsibilities of the Board
As a board member, you play a vital role in the leadership and oversight of your community. Your responsibilities typically include:
Fiduciary
Oversight
Safeguard association funds, review financial reports, and ensure responsible budgeting and reserve planning.
Vendor & Contract Management
Approve vendor contracts and oversee performance for maintenance, landscaping, repairs, and other services.
Governing Document Enforcement
Ensure compliance with the association’s governing documents, including CC&Rs, bylaws, and rules and regulations.
